Chocolate fundraiser prizes will be going home today! If you have any questions on prizes sent home please send an email to the office and we will look into it. Thanks again for such a successful fundraiser!

We are now accepting applications for Summer School 2024. Applications are due no later than May 10th.

The elementary will wear green for St. Patrick’s Day tomorrow instead of next Tuesday if your student would like to participate!

Cuba Elementary is excited to host a Donuts with Grown-Ups breakfast! Students may bring an adult in their life (grandparents, parents, family friend, etc) for a donut from 7:00am-8:00am on April 18th. Students may bring more than one adult, but only one student donut and one adult donut will be given out per child for planning purposes. We are excited to see you at this fun event next month!

Tomorrow is the 100th day of school! There is no official dress up day, but students can feel free to dress like a 100 year old or with 100 items!

We are excited for Kindergarten Expo tomorrow from 5-7! We look forward to seeing our new Wildcats!

Families, A friendly reminder that dance camp begins tonight! Unfortunately we are unable to take any late additions since forms were out for two weeks, shirts have been ordered, and the roster and transportation list has been finalized. Thanks for your understanding and have a great day!

Party day is here! Party times are as follows: Kindergarten-8:00-9:00 1st-2:40-3:30 2nd-12:30-1:30 3rd-1:30-2:15 4th-2:00-3:00

Mrs. Cunningham’s class completed a series of five lessons on erosion and the Earth’s surface. During the lessons, students developed a model of the earth’s surface and used it to discover an important principle about how rivers work. They also investigated the effects of rocks tumbling in a river, explored flash floods, made hypotheses and investigated the causes of canyons, and compared multiple solutions for preventing erosion.

The district had its 1st Annual District Wide Chili Cook-off! A big thank you to the Cuba Fire Protection District for being our wonderful judges and all they do for the district and community! District Champion: Mr. Cross 2nd Place and “Most Chili Eaten” Award: Mrs. Gilliam 3rd Place: Mr. Stahlman

Families, You all know how to sell chocolate! Due to a high volume to hand out, and some staff shortages today, not all candy was passed out. We will prioritize any students that brought in forms today while passing out candy tomorrow. Thank you for your support and patience!

Families, We had a minor difficulty with chocolate delivery this morning, but all fundraiser chocolate will be sent home tomorrow!
