Our students had fun with the soap and pepper experiment! A tiny drop of soap made the pepper “run away,” showing how soap breaks water’s surface tension—and why it’s so good at keeping us clean! Wash those hands!

Today was a great day for our first Back to School Fair. We had somewhere between 150-200 kids show up with their parents. The fair included free haircuts, free backpacks, updating registration forms, physicals, immunizations, and so many other fun things. All in All the day was a huge success thanks to Melanie Weber (our School Based Social Worker), Nurse Niki Hulsey, and everyone else who either volunteered, planned, donated or took part in some other way.

Thanks Jacie for helping me announce Attendance Recovery Wednesday (3/26) and Thursday (3/27) from 8 am-1 pm.
