CCR2 students had a great time at the 2026 Back to School Festival set up by Melanie Weber and Niki Hulsey. Free haircuts, physicals, backpacks, wildcat cups, snacks, and lots of other great items were passed out to help students get ready for the new school year. We even had a drawing for TV's. All of our staff are excited to welcome our students back and get started on a fantastic new school year.

Today we had the opportunity to welcome our newest teachers and administrators to Crawford County R-II! We are excited for the energy, experience, and enthusiasm they bring to our schools and can’t wait to see the impact they will make on our students and community.
Please join us in giving our new Wildcats a warm welcome as we kick off the 2026–2027 school year!

The Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) and End-of-Course (EOC) exams are state-required assessments developed under Senate Bill 380, also known as the "Outstanding Schools Act" of 1993. This legislation directed the Missouri State Board of Education to adopt academic performance standards that define the knowledge, skills, and competencies students need to progress through Missouri’s public education system, graduate from high school, and be prepared for college or the workforce.
Each year, school districts are required to communicate with families about how and when assessment results will be shared. This year, Individual Score Reports (ISRs) for MAP and EOC assessments will be sent home with students on Friday, September 4, 2026.
If you have questions about ISRs or the assessment process, please contact your building counselor for support.

We've had a very busy week here at CCR2. We want to thank our Nurses, Teachers, Principals, and our Lunch Heroes. CCR2 is an amazing place to work because of our dedicated and amazing staff.

Happy Administrative Professional's Day! We are blessed to have a great group of Administrative Professionals in the Crawford County R2 School District and they do a fantastic job of maintaining the office. Thank you for all you do!

Dr. Myra Siebert, Assistant Superintendent of Crawford County R-II School District, has been recognized by the Missouri Association of School Administrators (MASA) as the 2025-2026 Assistant Superintendent for the South Central Region. This honor is awarded to a central office leader who exemplifies excellence in educational leadership and a commitment to student success. Nominated and selected by her professional peers, Dr. Siebert’s recognition reflects her dedication to continuous improvement, strong leadership, and unwavering support of students, staff, and the Cuba Wildcat community.

Thanks to the amazing generosity of our community, along with Shop with a Cop, the Angel Tree Program, and the help of Melanie Weber, K–12 School-Based Social Worker, we were able to spread holiday joy to 81 families and 169 kids with Christmas presents and holiday food baskets. None of this would have been possible without everyone coming together for our families. ❤️🎄

Today was a great day for our first Back to School Fair. We had somewhere between 150-200 kids show up with their parents. The fair included free haircuts, free backpacks, updating registration forms, physicals, immunizations, and so many other fun things. All in All the day was a huge success thanks to Melanie Weber (our School Based Social Worker), Nurse Niki Hulsey, and everyone else who either volunteered, planned, donated or took part in some other way.

Families,

Car Rider Procedures for Cuba Elementary
-Cars will turn off of HWY 19 onto Old Cuba Road.
-Cars will turn right, by the softball field, and line up in the double lanes.
-Cars will then merge into one lane when approaching the elementary building.
-Cars must pull up to the cones before letting their child out of the vehicle. Do not drop off before the cones.
-Stay in your vehicle while going through the car line.
-If you need to get out of your vehicle, please park and walk your child to the office doors.
-Refrain from passing other vehicles.
We are super excited to see all of you tomorrow and to kick off a great year! You may walk your child to class the first day only. The days to follow we ask that parents let their child enter the building independently. We will establish a routine and your kiddo will be a pro in no time at all! Thank you for your support!
Mrs. Green and Mrs. Brown

Welcome Back!

CES is shaping up for a GREAT YEAR! Our custodians and maintenance crew have done an exceptional job of getting our building in tip-top shape! Mrs. Brown and myself have been working diligently to get schedules and routines in place for our teachers. Our teachers are rolling in to get their rooms ready to go and a place your child will be eager to learn.
You should have received an email for your child's new Student Information System (Lumen). SIS is no longer a platform for our district. Online Enrollment begins Tuesday, August 6th. This process is new to all of us so please be patient as our district navigates this resource.
We are so excited to see you soon. Don't forget open house is Thursday, August 15th from 6:00-7:30.
-Mrs. Green
