CHS Business class students and FBLA members had the opportunity to participate in the first annual Junior Achievement Stock Market Challenge on November 9. It was a fast-paced learning experience for all, and Cuba ended up in 3rd place, out of 36 total teams!! Go Wildcats!!







Cuba High School hosted a conference speech meet on Saturday, November 11, taking second place overall in team standings. Medal winners for the CHS speech team were as follows: Brandon Hulsey, first place in Prose Reading; second place in Informative Speaking Atlas Conway, first place in Poetry Reading Rachel Martellaro, first place in Dramatic Interpretation Rachel Martellaro & Brandon Hulsey, first place in Duet Improvisation Silas Siebert, second place in Radio Speaking; second place in Extemporaneous Speaking Justice Preston, second place in Humorous Interpretation; second place in Prose Reading; third place in Radio Speaking Max Corey, second place in Poetry Reading Atlas Conway & Max Corey, third place in Duet Improvisation; Bella Silva, second place storytelling.

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s (DESE’s) Office of Childhood launched Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library statewide in Missouri on November 8, 2023. Starting today, parents of Missouri children birth to age five will be able to register their eligible children on the Imagination Library national website.
