6th Grade March Students of the Month: Nikole consistently completes her work and does so happily. Nikole gets along with everyone and other students say she has a loving, quiet personality. Teachers report that Nikole is dependable and a joy to have in class. Liam is a happy student who is always uplifting everyone around him. Students talk about how nice he is. Teachers point out that he is easy to get along with and performs well in class.

On April 25. 2024, CMS 5th and 6th graders who earned the ZONE MAP incentive spent time enjoying the afternoon in Rolla, MO. We are so proud of all the hard work the students put into MAP testing!

Our Archery Competition was held between the first and second semester finalists last week. Congrats to these students for making it to the finals. Congrats to Adreana Valadez and Kaiden Brooks for being the top Archers.

Ms. Bailey's 5th grade Science classes made solar eclipse pictures to celebrate today's event.

In early May, the Middle School Drama Club will perform Captain Bree and Her Lady Pirates. We are starting the process of selling ADs for the musical. The ADs will be put in the playbill of the musical. The following are the prices. 1/4 Page: $25 1/3 Page: $35 1/2 Page: $50 Full Page: $100 We will accept ads from any of the surrounding counties: Gasconade, Phelps, Franklin, Dent, Washington, and Iron County. As a reminder, donations are always welcomed. All funds will go towards the purchase of props, costumes, set pieces, and other items that may be necessary for a successful performance. Mrs. Callahan's Theme Park Project - Students digitally created a theme park in Google Drawing and then made STEM models of their designs. They were having a great time!

We are now accepting applications for Summer School 2024. Applications are due no later than May 10th.

5th grade students of the month are Kinley Brinkmann and Joseph Door. Kinley and Joseph were chosen because of their kindness, they are always prepared for class, and work well with other students. Kinley is always willing to lend a hand. Joseph is an active participant in class daily. Congratulations!

Special Area chose Bentley Bacon as their February Student of the Month. Bentley is always smiling, funny, always helpful and respectful. He doesn't hesitate to jump in and help others clean up, move chairs, etc.

The CMS Volleyball team officially ended their season today. Both teams improved tremendously and were extremely exciting to watch and coach! Great season girls!
