Cuba Middle School

Ms. Coleman's class is practicing holding out books and balancing books on their heads to determine how all of their body systems and different parts of their body work together.

Mrs. Haist's Discovering FACS student's did an amazing job sewing 9 patch pillows. Her Family and Individual Living student's made amazing letter pillows.

The middle school student's were able to enjoy the high school choir caroling them.

Mrs. Callahan's students took turns decorating the hallway. 1st hour students made Snowflakes and a Gingerbread house with Santa receiving Cookies and Milk while the others created Gingerbread men and a small village.

CMS Families had fun taking "Awkward Family Pictures".

Kinsley was chosen as December Student of the Month by the Special Area Team. Kinsley is witty, fun, and follows the 3 R's. Congratulations Kinsley!

Mrs. Steiger's art class made felting projects that started with raw wool donated by the Sight and Sound Theater in Branson, MO. so they went from raw wool to the finished projects. So cool!!!

Cullen Portell was part of the 100% club this month for scoring 100% on his ELA Evaluate test! Way to go Cullen!

We celebrated the 67th day of the school year on Wednesday. The staff wore shirts with 6-7 and did some activities in their classrooms.

6th Grade Students of the Month:
Abigail Palmer - Abi is an exceptional student who consistently demonstrates strong academic performance and a genuine commitment to learning. She maintains excellent grades through her diligence, organization, and thoughtful contributions to classroom discussions. Abi is also a supportive peer who willingly assists other students, offering help and encouragement when needed. Abi’s positive attitude, leadership, and active participation make her an outstanding member of the classroom.

Cashan Gruver - Cashan has shown significant positive growth this year and should be recognized for the progress he has made. He is making a consistent effort to complete assignments and take greater responsibility for his learning. Cashan works well with his classmates during group activities, demonstrating strong collaboration and cooperation skills. He is helpful, actively participates in class, and contributes to discussions and group work. His cheerful attitude and constant smile bring a positive energy to the classroom, making him a pleasure to teach and a valued member of the class.
