Here is the 25-26 School Supplies list for Elementary and Middle School. High School students do not have a supply list, they will find out what they need during the first few days of school. We would like to give a huge shoutout to McGinnis Wood Products for providing school supplies for our students.

Good Evening Cuba Elementary Wildcats! We are very excited to see you tomorrow and welcome you back. A friendly reminder that elementary doors do not open until 7:30am. Parents are welcome to walk their child to class on the first day of school. This includes all PreK through 4th grade families, but you are required to enter through the elementary doors (not the middle school). After the first day of school we encourage our students to get into a routine by navigating the building with the assistance of our friendly staff. If students need breakfast, they need to report directly to the cafeteria and all other students will report to the assigned area for their grade level. Students are dismissed to class at 7:50. Students arriving after 7:50 will be considered tardy after the first day of school. We appreciate your support and cooperation. We look forward to an amazing year with your amazing children!

CUBA ELEMENTARY AFTERNOON DISMISSAL/PARENT PICK-UP CHANGES All Pre-K - 4th grade students who walk or are parent pick-up will be released in the Elementary Gym at 3:40 p.m. Pre-K and Kindergarten students will not be allowed to walk home without a sibling and/or parent/ guardian. Bus Riders: Students will load buses after the 3:40 dismissal. Transportation questions can be answered at Open House or you can call the elementary office. Please be patient with us the first week or two as drivers adjust to their new routes. Parent Pick Up: Students will not be released earlier than 3:40 due to after school traffic. If students are picked up in the office prior to 3:40 it will count towards attendance. The CES Parent Pick Up Line for the 2025-2026 school year is new! Parents will no longer exit their vehicle for pick up. Vehicles will line up in a double lane by the softball field, then merge to one lane in the circle drive outside of the elementary office. There will be cones numbered 1-5 starting at the yellow maintenance building. Staff will communicate and work together to get students from the gym to the correct cone for pickup. Parents will stop at a numbered cone. A Staff member will help load your child. Each vehicle will immediately pull forward/ exit the lot to keep traffic moving. Staff will not buckle your children. If your child needs assistance, you will need to pull forward and to the side to assist them. Parents will receive a cardstock name tag for their car dash at Open House. You must have a tag to pick up your child (original policy). See map and example pictures.

Today was a great day for our first Back to School Fair. We had somewhere between 150-200 kids show up with their parents. The fair included free haircuts, free backpacks, updating registration forms, physicals, immunizations, and so many other fun things. All in All the day was a huge success thanks to Melanie Weber (our School Based Social Worker), Nurse Niki Hulsey, and everyone else who either volunteered, planned, donated or took part in some other way.

Don't forget to join us for our Back to School Festival on August 8th!

We’ll have school registration, free backpacks, hygiene items, haircuts, community booths, and prize drawings — it’s a fun and helpful way to kick off the new school year!

We also want to inform you that, unfortunately, the shot clinic at the event will not be able to provide immunizations for students in Kindergarten through 4th grade. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Students entering 5th through 12th grade can still receive required immunizations at the festival. If your child falls within this age group and needs vaccinations, please preregister using the link below:

Last week, the CCR2 Admin hosted a luncheon to express our gratitude to the dedicated maintenance, custodial, transportation, and IT teams. As we prepare for a new school year, we recognize that it truly takes a collaborative effort, and we could not achieve our goals without the hard work and commitment of these exceptional individuals. We value each and every one of them. As we welcome everyone back to campus, please take a moment to acknowledge these team members. A simple handshake or a word of thanks can go a long way in showing our appreciation. Our facilities are in excellent condition, thanks to their unwavering efforts. See you soon Wildcats!

The Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) and End-of-Course (EOC) exams are state-required assessments developed under Senate Bill 380, also known as the "Outstanding Schools Act" of 1993. This legislation directed the Missouri State Board of Education to adopt academic performance standards that define the knowledge, skills, and competencies students need to progress through Missouri’s public education system, graduate from high school, and be prepared for college or the workforce. Each year, school districts are required to communicate with families about how and when assessment results will be shared. This year, Individual Score Reports (ISRs) for MAP and EOC assessments will be sent home with students on Friday, August 29. Please note that building-level scores will be released after they are finalized by DESE.
