Today is Custodian Appreciation Day! Please take a moment to thank our custodians when you see them today. They work tirelessly each day to keep our schools clean, safe, and functioning smoothly. We are incredibly grateful to have such a dedicated group of custodians serving our district. Thank you for helping us show them the appreciation they deserve!

Volleyball plays to win the conference title outright for the first time since 2018! Game will be played at Steelville MS at 5 PM with JV and Varsity to follow.

MS Girls basketball is at home tonight, with B team action getting started at 5:30 PM and A team to follow.

Cuba Elementary is joining the Wildcat Homecoming fun!

The Cuba Ladycat Volleyball team will be hosting a Youth Camp! Please follow the link provided to print/fill out the form and return to school prior to the date of the camp.

-K–3rd Grade: October 29, 2026 from 4-6 pm in the High School gym
-4th–6th Grade: October 30, 2026 from 4-6 pm in the High School gym

All registrations submitted by October 5th will include a camp t-shirt. Registrations received after October 5th are still welcome; however, we will not provide a t-shirt.

Meet Tiffini Lorenz! Mrs. Lorenz is our Parent Educator for the Crawford County R-II School District. Through our Parents as Teachers program, she supports parents and caregivers of children from birth through age 5 by providing resources, guidance, and connections that help families thrive. This is Mrs. Lorenz’s third year with our district, and she never misses an opportunity to grow professionally and find new ways to support and connect with families in our community. Recently, Mrs. Lorenz became Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Certified! 🚗This certification requires more than 30 hours of specialized training outside of her regular office hours. She is now equipped to educate families on proper car seat installation and provide car seat safety checks to help ensure children are traveling as safely as possible. Mrs. Lorenz is excited to offer this service to families throughout the Crawford County community. Highland cows make everyone smile! 🐮 Now combine a Highland cow with a child’s artwork… and how could you not smile?! 🎨 Our first Mini Picasso Night of the year is officially in the books, and these little artists absolutely knocked it out of the pasture! 👏 A huge thank-you to everyone who came out to support Ms. Albright and our little Picassos!

Four Rivers is our new dental partner, and they will be here next week to provide dental services to our students!
