School will be in session on Monday, November 20th and Tuesday, November 21st. School will NOT be in session Wednesday, November 22nd through Friday, November 24th in observance of Thanksgiving. We hope you and your family have a very blessed and happy Thanksgiving break.

We recognize that our community is very interested in the Board’s discussion of Policy 2115 and want to provide you with an update regarding the status of this policy.
We appreciated the presentation in open session from our legal counsel during which she shared the state of the law applicable to this policy. The Board later met in closed session with its counsel to receive additional guidance and advice regarding the Board’s requested changes discussed during the October open session meeting. Our legal counsel will be providing a revised Board Policy 2115 that reflects the Board’s vote during the October meeting. This revised policy will be presented to the Board for formal approval at the Board’s regular December meeting.
We are excited to see our students the next three school days as we move into the holiday week. We hope that everyone has a safe and peaceful Thanksgiving.
