Congratulations to the quartet of Oliver Scharfenberg, Noah Shores, Spencer Walker and Tristan Cross for breaking a 15 year old Middle School Track Record. The boys combined to run a 1:47 in the 4x200m relay at the St. James MS meet on Monday 4/13 besting the previous school record of 1:49 set in 2011.
These students received positive office referrals from their teachers. They are "stars"at being responsible, reliable, and respectful.
We are excited to host our Back to School Festival on August 12th from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM—and we need YOUR help to make it the best one yet!
We are currently looking for:
Community agencies to host resource tables
Licensed cosmetologists/barbers to provide free haircuts
Donations of backpacks & hygiene items to support local students
This is a great opportunity to come together as a community and help our students start the school year feeling confident, supported, and ready to succeed!

CHS Weekly Activities for April 13-18.
The Cardiac Cats were at it again today! Two consecutive days with come from behind wins in the 7th inning. Today the Wildcats ROARED to life in the top of the 7th inning scoring 5 runs to secure the win over Linn 9-6.
The Hermann Bearcats get the best of Cuba in game 2 of the Linn Tournament. We will not know when the Wildcats will play tomorrow until the Belle/Hermann game has been completed.
Jaspar Silva pitches around a bases loaded jam in the 1st inning giving up 2 runs while recording 3 strikeouts then slams the door on the Belle Tigers for the remainder of the game. Wyatt McMillian collects the walk-off hit driving in Cameron Carnal to secure the victory in the opening game of the Linn Tournament.
The Book Fair is at Cuba Elementary! It will also be open during the Carnival April 16th , so come check it out!

Mrs. Callahan has brought in guest speakers for her Desktop & Graphic students to learn about careers for the CTE unit. We have had a great time with Gennifer from Crawford Electric Cooperation, Tracy Brandenburg-Miller from Warden Publishing, Shannon Carnal about Play Therapy, Brandi Grindel from ECC, and Jacob Rumans from our IT department. They each brought in at least one hands on activity and gave a great overview of what they do. Thank you everyone for presenting!
